For a 7-year-old, Harrison is hugely into fashion. He loves nothing more than a shopping spree for some new clothes! He really suits that sort of American preppy casual style – cotton knits, navy, polo shirts – that sort of thing. It’s quite hard to find that sort of style on the high street though, as everything seems to be sportswear or big logo or prints. Gant, the popular American brand, has launched a brand new range aimed at kids and teenagers. It’s absolutely perfect for those times when the kids want to look a bit smarter, but casual, comfortable and cool at the same time.
Harrison has been wearing the Gant teen boys cotton pique sweater in evening blue. This is a lovely, lightweight, cotton knit that is just perfect for the Autumn when the weather can’t make its mind up. It is a crew neck which means it would look great layered over a polo shirt and has ribbed cuffs and hemline. The Gant logo is small and subtle on the chest, making it look really smart and classy. He’s been teeming it with dark blue jeans, which looks good for days out, like our day on the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
He’s only 7, but is in age 10-11 clothing, which comes under the ‘teen’ section. This fits him absolutely perfectly, with a good amount of stretch. It’s been washed and line-dried multiple times and hasn’t gone bobby or shapeless. At £49, it might be on the more expensive end for children’s clothing, but it’s worth it for the premium quality and styling. Check out the Gant teen clothing range by clicking here.
