I have always been a big fan of the Care Bears. I loved them as a child and as a teenager, I built up quite a collection of bears. Sadly, thanks to a leaky loft they are no more, but I still remember them fondly.
They’re back now, and Elizabeth (and the boys!) love them just as much as I did all those years ago. There’s a brand new bear on the scene – Dream Bright Bear – and we were sent on a little mission to Smyths Toy Superstore to find her and the other Care Bears toys in the range.
Dream Bright Bear – the most optimistic bear in Care A Lot
Dream Bright is the most optimistic bear in Care-A-lot. She encourages you to follow your dreams and is always there to cheer you on. She knows that everything is possible if you believe in yourself.
After a little while, Elizabeth was able to locate the Care Bears on the shelf at Smyths Toy Superstore and what a range there was! Dream Bright’s blue and purple ombré fur makes her stand out from the crowd. Her special tummy badge has a heart and rainbow on it – two of Elizabeth’s favourite things. If you watch our Instagram reel, you might spot a slightly teary Elizabeth – she wanted to take all of them home, and I can’t say I blame her!
Perfect for cuddles
The bear itself is a great size, suitable for snuggles and allowing you to receive an endless supply of hugs while accompanying you on all of your trips. She stands just over 35cm tall and her fur is really velvety and luxurious to feel. Her big eyes are adorable and she really is the cutest bear going – and Elizabeth thinks so too!
