Elizabeth is obsessed with dolls. Like really obsessed.

Katie and Jamie, her twin dolls, go everywhere with her. She carries them around, usually by the arms on the school run, takes them in her backpack to school, and snuggles up to them in bed. I often find myself holding one of them, pretending to feed them!

You can imagine how utterly excited she was when a package turned up from Wowow Toys, containing a Joie stroller, travel cot, changing mat and highchair/car seat. She squealed with delight – literally. My ears are still ringing two weeks later!

We have had toy pushchairs before. In fact, we have had several, but this little set really is superb. it is Joie branded, and is exactly the same as the real ones, just in miniature form. They are well made – they seem to be holding up to a three-year-old (and her three older brothers, who will never admit to it but love playing with them as well!).

The little buggy is a fold-up one and is the perfect height for Elizabeth and fits most of her standard-sized dolls. The travel cot is a good size too, and s easy to fold up and put in the handy storage bag when it is not in use – although it has been a permanent future in Elizabeth’s room since it arrived. The car seat is great, although the strap does keep coming off – nothing that a quick blob of hot glue won’t solve though. It attaches to a frame to turn it into a high chair or swing, which blew Elizabeth’s mind! She sees her little baby cousin in a high chair and she’s so excited to be able to put her babies in one.
