We love a movie night here. Once every couple of weeks, we choose a film to watch on a Friday or Saturday evening and all snuggle up under a throw with some snacks. We’ve run a bit dry on movies at the moment, but thankfully, Ready2Robot came to the rescue.
In our movie night box we had some popcorn, a nacho kit (my all time favourite food!), a USB stick with some brand new Ready2Robot episodes and, much to the boys’ delight, a Bot Blasters Set.
The new episodes of Ready2Robot are perfect for filling those few minutes, maybe once they’re all ready for school, or on an evening when you’re trying to cook dinner. Each one is around 3 – 5 minutes long, so perfect for little attention spans. They’re full of action-packed battles and are a real hit with the boys.
Like most kids, the boys love blind bags and the like, so they, of course, loved the Bot Blasters set. Now, I’m not going to lie, I don’t love them because of the amount of plastic, and I am trying to do what we can to reduce our plastic usage, but occasionally, I will give in if it makes them smile, especially as Harrison has just had his grommets operation. With this pack, you open each numbered compartment, which reveals a new part. I think the extra plastic wrapping on the parts was unnecessary, and I would be more likely to buy them in the future if they didn’t have that.
They had lots of fun putting the robot together and using them alongside the robots they had for Christmas. They’re neat little toys, that would be perfect to take along on a long journey to keep them entertained.
Ready2Robot are suitable for ages 5 and over and are available from Smyths. Single Packs RRP: £9.99, Bot Blasters RRP: £14.99 and Battle Packs RRP: £19.99
*We were sent these products free of charge to feature in this post. All words and thoughts are our own and were not influenced in any way.
We also have movie nights with pizza, snacks and cuddles, its much more relaxing than a cinema trip, plus a fraction of the price, I haven’t heard of ready2robot but think my children would enjoy it xx
Sounds like great fun.
