Living in a rented property, we have to keep the decor relatively neutral, which means we have to find other ways of putting some character and personality into the rooms. Harrison recently had a new cabin bed, so it was Alex’s turn to have something nice for his bedroom – Pokemon bedding from Character World.
We were sent a single duvet cover and pillow case, a beanbag and a cushion – perfect for transforming a boring bedroom into something much more fun for a little boy! He was over the moon with his new ‘bedroom bits’!
The beanbag is brilliant for us – their kiddy sofa only seats two children so there are always arguments over where the third one sits. Now we have the beanbag, they can all sit in comfort, and they now all argue over who gets to sit on that! The cover to the beanbag isn’t removable or washable, however, which is a big design flaw in my eyes.
The cushion, which is perfect for using to slouch on the sofa is made of a lovely almost silky feeling material with different Pokemon designs on either side. Just like the beanbag, it isn’t washable and it is already starting to look a little grubby which is a shame.
The material of the duvet cover feels thick and good quality, although a little rough. It washed and dried well and Alex seems to love it though – he actually wants to go bed at the moment to see it!
The range is available at Asda, Argos and Amazon and issues with being able to wash the beanbag and cushion aside, it’s a cheap and fun way to brighten up a bedroom.
