PJ Masks Headquarters Playset | Review

If you’ve got young kids, you will have more than likely heard of PJ Masks – it seems like all the kids, including mine, are obsessed with it at the moment. It’s on Disney Junior and follows three young friends, Connor, Amaya and Greg. At night, they put on their pj’s and turn into their alter-egos Catboy, Owlette and Gekko and embark on adventures, solve mysteries and learn valuable lessons along the way.

I became the ‘best mom ever’ in the summer holidays when this amazing PJ Masks Headquarters playset from Just Play turned up. It’s brand new and the kids couldn’t wait to get it open and play with it!

PJ Masks HQ Review

It’s big – three levels of play – and sturdy, with plenty of features to encourage imaginative play. Some of the features include:

  • Control centre with lights and sounds, which sings the PJ Maks theme tune and says phrases from the show
  • Goggles for red owl vision
  • Super Gekko slide
  • Cat ball rings
  • Furball shooter
  • Elevator platform

It also comes with the Catboy car and Catboy figure. I do think the set would be better if it came with the other characters and cars – at almost £50 it’s quite pricey, and the additional figures and cars are more money on top. However, I know that is something that seems to be more and more common in toys these days.

What we did love about it is how quick and easy it is to put together and that the batteries needed for the control centre were included, meaning we didn’t have to scrabble about finding some with three excited kids hanging about!

All in all, it’s a good quality playset and the kids have really enjoyed playing with it. You can buy it from Amazon.
