Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge

Without a doubt, the most played with toys in our house are Hot Wheels cars. We have a huge box filled to the brim with them. I’ve got a couple in every handbag, the changing bag and in the glove box so that wherever we are, we have a few to hand. I even packed some to take to my brother’s wedding on the weekend, knowing that they would keep Benjamin quiet for hours.  When we were given the opportunity to review the brand new Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge, I knew we would have three very happy little boys (and one very happy daddy!).

We did have a bit of an inward groan when we saw just how many pieces were in the box, but it wasn’t too bad to put together. There are a normal Hot Wheels track, a motorised bridge and construction bricks so that you can customise your track and make it really unique. It can be connected to other Hot Wheels sets to really extend the fun and play value.

Now, be warned – this is LONG. It literally stretched out the entire length of the wall! It is slim though, so you could leave it against a wall out of the way rather than take it apart every time the kids wanted to play with it.

It does take some force to get the car to go up the ramp and leap over the bridge, as you can see from the video below, but Graham and the kids had lots of fun trying!  I don’t think they’ve managed to get it to jump the bridge and come down the ramp the other side yet, but they’re certainly practising it. You can launch two cars at the same time, although only one Hot Wheels car is included in the kit. It’s great for encouraging a bit of competitive spirit between the kids!

The Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge, which is for children aged 4 and over has just been launched just in time for Christmas and retails at £49.99.
