If you read our review of the Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge last week, you’ll know the three boys (and Graham!) are huge fans of Hot Wheels. We were lucky enough to not only review that but the Hot Wheels Roto Revolution Track, which has been released just in time for Christmas.
This skill-based track challenges players in a head to head face off. It’s a real test of patience and timing – which was perfect for the four males in this house that definitely need to practise both of those!
The idea is that you launch the Hot Wheels car from the launcher at exactly the right moment so that they fly around the loops and smash into your opponents car. Believe me – it’s much easier than it sounds but SO much fun!
It’s straightforward to assemble – it’s the base, three loops and two launchers that just click in. It does require 4 x D batteries, which aren’t included. You then switch it on and the base rotates. The only thing I would keep in mind that it is very noisy – like vacuum cleaner noisy!
The boys have had lots of fun with this, and I love the fact it is teaching them to be patient and understand timing. Noise aside, I think it’s a great toy and something they’re not going to grow out of within weeks.
The Hot Wheels Roto Revolution Track has an RRP of £49.99 and is available from Amazon.
