Easter Fun with Chuggington | Review

We don’t really celebrate Easter in a big way. The kids get one chocolate egg from us, one from my parents and one from my nan, and they sometimes have an egg hunt, but that’s about it with us. This year, it was even more stepped back because on Easter morning, we had the sad news that Kai, our beloved dog, had passed away.

Thankfully, thanks to Jazwares, the boys had something to put a smile on their faces. Like most kids their age, they love trains sets, and Chuggington is one of their favourite shows on TV. They were really chuffed when a parcel containing some brand new Chuggington toys turned up! You may have seen our unboxing video on Facebook, or on Instagram Stories, but now it’s time to see what we thought of it!

The toys that we were sent are part of a brand new range which was only launched just before Easter so it was great to be one of the first to get our hands on them. The set contains Connec-Trax track packs, which are conveniently compatible preschool train systems and some collectable Little Chugger trains.

It was simple to put together; I struggle to put a lot of complicated train layouts together but even I managed this one. Harrison and Alex are able to set it up for themselves and Benjamin needs minimal help to click the tracks together. They’ve had hours of fun with this – it’s pretty much constantly been on my lounge floor since we’ve had it! I think the additional parts and Little Chuggers will definitely be on Benjamins’s birthday wish list later this year.

*We were sent these toys for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
