PJ Masks Super Moon Collection | Review

You’ve probably noticed from previous reviews that the boys are huge fans of PJ Masks – and it’s one of the few kids shows I can tolerate. Recently, we were sent a fantastic bundle of toys for the boys to play with, including the brand new Super Moon HQ and Rocket.

As part of this review, we also threw a fab little PJ Masks party, which brightened up a rainy Sunday. The boys had chance to play with their toys, race the vehicles and have an afternoon of PJ Masks themed fun. We were sent the following items:

Mission Control HQ Playset  (RRP £49.99)

Super Moon Adventures HQ Rocket (RRP £49.99)

Super Moon Adventure Figure and Accessory Pack (Owlette, Catboy and Gekko) (RRP £9.99)

Super Moon Booster Vehicles (Owlette, Catboy and Gekko) (RRP £13.99)

Super Moon Space Rover and Figure Assortment (RRP £9.99)

Deluxe Figure Set (RRP £40.00)

The Mission Control HQ playset is brand new for Autumn and the kids loved it. It works brilliantly alongside the Deluxe figure set, letting the kids play and act out all of their favourite scenes from the show. It does take a little putting together, but it’s relatively straightforward. It’s a multi level building with lots of interactive feautures – a feature shooter, a pole for the charachers to slide down, a control panel with lights and sounds from the show, a lightning bolt cage and even a secret trapdoor. It has lots of little things to keep the kids engaged for hours.

The deluxe figure set contains plenty of characters from the show, and is a great addition to any of the main playsets.  The super moon booster vehicles are great fun for racing – the boys had Owlette ones and loved racing them along a track! Each vehicle is accompanied by a character, and are great as either a stand alone toy or part of a bigger game with the other sets.

Their favourite toy was the Super Moon HQ Rocket. It has fold up legs, which it can also stand on and comes with a Gekko figurine and his vehicle. This can be launched from the ramp of the rocket by the touch of a button, which is great fun! The front of the rocket opens up to reveal a cockpit, where the three main characters can all sit. It has a handle which allows the kids to pick it up to fly around the room. As with the other playset, there are lights and sounds to be make it really interactive.

The boys really enjoyed playing with their new PJ Masks toys. In fact, as I write this, their friend is here and all four of them are having fun with it. If you want to find out more about the toys, join in with the Twitter party on Wednesday 17th September between 1pm and 3pm – just follow me and ukmumstv on Twitter.
