Hello!
Every time I get round to doing one of these posts I promise that I am going to be blogging more regularly again blah blah blah…and it never quite happens. I’m not going to promise it again! The truth is, between parenting and doing my ‘proper’ job, I don’t get as much time to spend on my blog these days, even though I have a million posts that I want to write. I do try, when I get time, though!
Last week was quite a tough one, to be honest. Ben had only just gone back to school after having to isolate for ten days when we had an email from Harrison’s school to say he needed to isolate – I could have cried! Fortunately, after a couple of days, we had a message to say he was in the clear and could go back out. Then, on Sunday – when we planned to go for a walk – Elizabeth woke up with a face like she had done ten rounds with Mike Tyson. Cue calls to 111 and several hours in the hospital. She’s fine – still a little puffy and on antibiotics to treat suspected cellulitis, but what an end to a shitty week!
This week should (fingers crossed!) be much better. I do have to take Elizabeth back to the hospital on Wednesday to have her eye checked, and on Friday evening we should be going back to Birmingham for the weekend for my nephew’s birthday – let’s hope the weather improves a little, eh? As you can see, the meal plan only goes up to Thursday because of being in Birmingham.
Meal Plan

Sweet potato and cauliflower curry with naan bread
Crispy chicken wraps with salad and sweet potato fries
Bean lasagne and garlic bread
Toad in the hole with roast potatoes and veg
Sending love and hugs. It sounds like you have a lot on at the moment. Poor Elizabeth, I hope she is better soon. Have a fab time in Birmingham.
I love the sound of the curry. Yum, yum. x
