After a three week break, Meal Planning Monday is back It’s been absolutely hectic lately and I haven’t known whether I’m coming or going, let alone been able to plan meals in advance! It has proved that planning makes a difference though – we’ve lived off stuff from the freezer or running across to Asda every night for something quick to shove in the oven. It’s not been as nice and it’s worked out more expensive, so I’m glad to be back to planning. This week, I’ve only planned for Monday to Friday – we have the family coming up on Saturday to celebrate Harrison’s birthday, so we will more than likely have a bit of a party tea, and Sunday is his actual birthday so it will be something like a pizza or whatever he fancies that day!
This week’s Meal Plan
Monday: Baked potatoes with salad and cheese
Tuesday: Spaghetti with pesto and roasted vegetables
Wednesday: Hungarian pork stew with noodles
Thursday: Sausage casserole, mashed potato, and vegetables
Friday: Butter Chicken and rice
Looks delicious
Glove spaghetti WITH pest0
We do a menu on Wednesday night, and the main shop on Thursday morning. My wife then does a top up shop on Tuesdays when so does her “Ladies wot lunch” thing with her friend!
We have very little wastage that way!
