It’s been a while since I have done one of these meal planning Monday posts, hasn’t it?
I’m not quite sure why I haven’t done a meal planning Monday posts recently. I think I missed one or two and then sort of fell out of the routine. We haven’t been meal planning either, and I’ve noticed we have fallen back into the trap of ‘oh shit, what are we having for tea?’ at 5pm.
So, this is my attempt at getting into some sort of routine again!
What’s been happening here then? Well, it’s all excitement in our little town because the new series of I’m A Celebrity is happening at the castle here in Abergele. It is literally five minutes from our house and we can see it from our window – it looks pretty spectacular all lit up.
On a less exciting note, Graham lost his job (yeah, cheers COVID) a few weeks back. It means we have obviously had to tighten our belts a little bit. He’s looking for work, but no luck so far! It does make you realise the impact that this damn virus is having on everyone and everything – we thought his job was pretty secure. Let’s just hope with news of a vaccine on the horizon, things start getting back to normal sooner rather than later. I’m absolutely fed up with not seeing my family; I haven’t seen my nan since March, my parents since August and I’m yet to meet my beautiful nephew Arlo, who was born in August.
Anyway, whinging and pity party done: here is this week’s meal planning Monday post!
