I’m trying to get my head around the fact that this time next month it will be just a couple of days before Christmas. 2020 has just…gone! Considering the circumstances, I’m not sure that is an entirely bad thing though.
We put our decorations up on the weekend. We wouldn’t normally do it this early – we usually wait until the first weekend of December, but I think we all need a bit of cheer this year, and so they went up. Whether I want to yeet it out of the window in a couple of weeks time after a toddler and two twat cats have ‘explored’ it is a while different story. So far, Elizabeth has shown no interest in it and was more interested in emptying the kitchen cupboard. I’m sure it won’t last.
This week should be quite a nice one. The boys have a teacher training day on Friday, but they are going to a Christmas craft day at the church. Saturday is Ben’s birthday, so we will do what we can to make that a lovely day for him, I can’t believe he is going to be six!
