I very nearly didn’t join in with this week because it’s going to be REALLY boring. Then I realised that a) I promised myself to join in every week this year, and B) sometimes life is a little bit boring, and my blog is all about our life! So, apologies for the boringness of it all and the lack of interesting photos – here is this week’s Little Loves!

Read

The local newspaper. That really is all I have read this week. My tablet managed to find it’s way under our bed and I couldn’t get it out, so I haven’t read any more of Me Before You. I have barely done any blog reading or anything this week. Told you it was a boring one!

Watched

Episode after episode of Game of Thrones. I’d not watched them, so at New Year I started from the first episode, and I’m pretty much averaging two an evening now. I’m on series three and absolutely hooked! I’ve also recorded the new series of Call the Midwives for when I’ve finished Game of Thrones.

Made

Again, absolutely nothing, unless you count a Cottage Pie I made and stuck in the freezer.  Actually…I did collect some more shells for our candle jars. Ok, so I didn’t technically make them, but I put them together!

Wore

My usual mum uniform of leggings, long tops and boots. I’m on the lookout to buy a new waterproof coat over this weekend (difficult when you’re both tall and very ‘plus sized’!) so hopefully I will be able to show you that next week!

Heard

I haven’t really been out anywhere this week (can’t you tell!!) so haven’t really listened to the radio or anything! I’ve heard lots of me coughing though, does that count? I have literally been swigging cough medicine out of the bottle in order to get just a bit of sleep!

And lastly

We are almost at the end of January! I’m quite relieved actually – it’s felt really, really long and dull. The days are starting to get a little longer, which always helps, and it feels just that little bit closer to spring. I’m excited to see what our garden looks like when it comes alive – we moved here in late Autumn so everything had died off. We already have a row of daffodils springing up!
