Blaze & the Monster Machines Animal Island Stunts Railway

Earlier this week we took delivery of a rather exciting parcel – the Blaze and the Monster Machines Animal Island Stunts Raceway playset. All three boys are obsessed with Blaze and the Monster Machines, and I actually think it’s one of the better kids cartoons out there – Ben is always answeing the questions they ask on the show and interacting with it! This playset is inspired by the new wild wheels theme from the TV show.

There are a fair few parts to the set but it’s really simple to put together. However, it is BIG! One you click some parts together you can’t take them apart, so you do need to make sure you have the space to put it. It’s really strong and good quality plastic though – it isn’t going to fall apart as soon as someone touches it.

There are four different stunt roads to play on – race through the abandoned cave, ride over the fallen tree, zoom down the vertical drop or ride the roaring waterfall to jump through the jungle vines. There’s loads of play value in the toy, and even I couldn’t resist giving Blaze a push down the vertical drop!

It comes with one exclusive Lion Blaze vehicle, but you can buy other vehicles from the show to extend the fun – it’s somethng we are looking at getting some more of so all three boys can play together. You can also connect it to other Blaze and the Monster Machine track sets.

I think this is a really good playset, and because of the sheer size, it’s worth the £49.99 RRP.
