18 Things You Need From Poundshop | An Online Haul

Ok, I used the word ‘haul’ in a blog post and that made me cringe a bit, but that’s exactly what this was – a haul. I absolutely love pound shops. I tend to go in them for one or two items that I need and come out with a whole load of things I didn’t necessarily need, but absolutely wanted! I didn’t realise that the Poundshop had a website, but it does, and you can let yourself loose in there without leaving the comfort of your sofa.

18 Things You Need From Poundshop Online

L’Occitane Hydrated Curls Masque – this stuff is amazing. My hair has been really dry lately, but this is helping to give it a much-needed boost of hydration.

Beard Conditioner and Face Moisturiser – more and more men (Graham and my brothers included) are shunning the clean-shaven look, and proper beards seem to be the new thing. This combined conditioner and moisturiser is great for keeping beards and skin soft.

Extra Volume Beauty Balm for Hair – this has given my hair a bit more volume and body, which has been missing of late!

Bouncy Curl Rollers – I haven’t managed any curls with these yet, but they’ve given me a bit of bounce and volume. Brilliant for only a quid!

Dove Go Fresh Shower Gel – I love Dove shower gels and creams. I’d not seen this one before (it comes out a sort of orangey colour), but it seems and feels lush.

White Plastic Storage Box – I’m using the white storage box to put all my new bits of makeup and skincare in, but I’m going to get some more for the kitchen.

Blue Plastic Storage Basket – these are super handy and available in a range of colours. At the moment, it’s been used to hold all the markers for rock decorating, but I’m getting some more for holding pegs for outside.

Permanent Markers – we have been decorating rocks and stones to hide in and around our local area. Paint is too messy so we’ve found that permanent markers work the best. These are as good as the branded ones – and for a fraction of the price.

Jumbo Chalks – these are brilliant for the kids in the garden. They can draw on the pavement, fences and walls and it can be washed off with the rain or a quick hose down.

Deluxe Lipstick – I’m always on the lookout for new makeup to try, and this hasn’t disappointed me at all. The colour is bold and bright and has pretty good lasting power for a quid!

Define and Perfect Eyeshadow Powder – I’d run out of my usual (expensive) eyebrow pomade the day this arrived, and whilst it didn’t quite have the staying power that my normal one does, it was pretty decent and did the job absolutely fine.

Highlighter and concealer palette – I wasn’t massively fussed about the highlighter cream but the concealers and colour correction creams worked a treat!

Velvet Kiss Moisturising Lip Cream – I wasn’t expecting much for a pound each, but these were great. The deep purple one especially was really bold and vibrant, and the lasting power was not bad at all.

Collection Single Eyeshadow – These came in a pack of three and I’m really glad because they’ve become a bit of a go-to. I found that I needed to prime my eyelids more for this to stay on longer than a couple of hours, but the colour is strong.

L’Occitane Hydrated Curls Leave-In – this works brilliantly alongside the masque. It’s helped to give my curls a bit more definition and shine.

Pop up laundry basket –as you can imagine for a quid, it’s not the strongest basket ever, but it’s really useful for holding all of the pants and socks before they get brought downstairs and transferred to the washing machine.

I was really impressed with my haul of stuff from Poundshop online. It’s so much easier and more convenient than going into town and finding somewhere to park. I’ll definitely be using it again!
