“It’s coming home, it’s coming home, it’s coming….”
Oh. Sorry. getting a bit carried away there. It’s all about the football at the moment, right? Well, it is in this house. I can’t believe that this time next week it will be all over, with the World Cup hopefully en route back to England and life will be back to normal. How will I cope without almost constant football on?
Anyway, enough about that (although it IS coming home!). We had a super weekend back in Birmingham, celebrating England kicking some Swedish butt, but most importantly, my beautiful little nephew’s first birthday. My brother and his wife threw a cracking barbeque, and we had a lovely afternoon and evening. I’ll be writing about that this week at some point. This is a relatively quiet one for a change – just Harrison’s leavers assembly (sob!) and then a couple of kid’s birthday parties on the weekend – I swear these kids have a better social life than me. But obviously, it’s ALL about the football.
