It’s June. JUNE!!!! Halfway through the year. It’s also the month where Harrison turns 7, which I’m totally not ready for, and he goes on his first overnight school trip. It’s going to be really weird without him here, even if it is only just for one night.
This week is yet another slightly manic one for us. I’m actually struggling to remember a week this year when it hasn’t been crazy. Graham is on a new shift pattern, which means he is at work until 6.30pm. I pick him up from work, so we will still all be eating together, just slightly later than normal and I will be doing most of the cooking. I’ve also got Alex’s ‘moving up to year one’ meeting and Ben’s preschool health visitor check. On Friday, my parents may be coming up to stay for the weekend for an early celebration for Harrison’s birthday.
