Gifts for Women | Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Well, there’s little over three weeks to go before the big man in red comes down the chimney (or, if you’re like us, through the front door with his magic key!). Many of us are getting well and truly stuck into our Christmas shopping, but if you’re stuck for gifts for the woman in your life, take a look at my picks for the 2017 Christmas Gift Guide!

Christmas Gifts for Women

Three Colourway Scarf  – £69

How beautiful is this? The ingenious three colourway scarf from Touch London comes in a variety of colour schemes, but I particularly loved this Warwick one with a rich rustic theme -blue teal, old gold and warm rusty. It’s made from 100% soft woollen yarn, just like how personalized wedding napkins can add a unique touch to your special day with a rich, customized theme.

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation  – £69.99

Well, hello cheeky Mr Penguin! This little chap is perfect for women who want (or need!) a bit of leg-trembling pleasure. It’s waterproof (so you can sneak him into the shower or bath for some grown-up time!), it has speed controls, it’s rechargeable and quiet. It’s size and shape lets you explore different sensations and interests.

I may or may not have told my 5-year-old when I accidentally opened the box in front of him that it is an ear wax cleaner…

So Divine Vibrating Bullet  -£6.99

Staying on the ‘grown-up toys’ theme, these little vibrating bullets from So Divine! are just £7.99 each. You can pick them up alongside your groceries in some of the major supermarkets (I did laugh when finding the link for this – it told me people who bought this also bought green beans!).They come in three colours: Thinkin’ Bout You Red, Halo Rose Gold and Need You Tonight Silver. They’re just £6.99 each and they’re waterproof, quiet and have a powerful single speed vibration. Ticks all the boxes, yes?

Phone Case – £29.95

If you’re anything like me, your phone spends just as much time falling out of your hand and bouncing off the floor as it does staying in your hand, especially if you have kids with a penchant for watching Ryan’s Egg Surprises on YouTube. These ultra-thin gem phone cases from Tech 21 offer  2m drop protection and come in pretty, dazzling shades of rose, green and lilac.

Willow Tree Figurine – £16.99

Show your appreciation to the woman in your life with this gorgeous Willow Tree figurine.  It’s simple and heartfelt, as well as being very pretty!

Accessorize Love Lily Perfume -£19

Monsoon Rose Gold Perfume  – £35

It was news to me that Accessorize and Monsoon did a range of fragrances, but my god, I’m glad I now know! As you can expect, the bottles are both gorgeous enough to be displayed on any dressing table, but they both smell damn lush as well. I’m not very good at describing all the different layers of scent in them, so here’s the official description for you

Monsoon Rose Gold: opens with juicy top notes of citrus, rich floral heart notes and decadent woods which combine to create a feminine and sensual scent  – creating a beautiful, rich aroma.

Accessorize Love Lily: pens with notes of raspberry and orange invigorated with a zesty accord of bergamot.   At its heart, Muguet (lily of the valley) combined with Jasmine work together to add a fresh and floral depth.  Aromatic musks and sweet vanilla are united at the core.

Buff Hat – £30.76

Everyone needs a decent woolly hat for the winter, and this is it I reckon. It’s a mix of acrylic, wool and alpaca, so it’s uber cosy and snuggly as well as being perfect for covering up bad hair days. It’s a slouch fit and available in four different colours.

Cam’Pouch – £12.00

It’s a makeup bag, jewellery pouch, pen tidy, travel case…actually, it could be pretty much whatever you wanted it or needed it to be. It comes in two pretty designs (this is the botanical print) and is really handy. I’ve been using it to pop my makeup in to take on weekend’s away and it is surprisingly roomy!

Novella Nostalgia Short Stories – £5.97 for the Kindle

These short stories were inspired by the silver screen’s favourite and most iconic stories. They’re short, so perfect for those moments in between school runs or whilst you’re stuck in the car with a napping toddler (yes, that happened to me today!) and just want a quick but heartwarming read.

Belmio Nespresso Compatible Coffee Capsules – £16.50

For a coffee addict like me, this is the perfect gift. These aluminium capsules are compatible with Nespresso machines and are an excellent way of trying new coffees without spending a fortune or compromising on taste and quality.

Nelson’s Massage Oil -£8.11

Nelson’s Calendula Cream – £7.28

The Nelsons bath and massage oil can be poured into a bath for a deeply relaxing soak – perfect for after all the stress of the festive season or used as a massage oil to soothe aching muscles. The Calendula cream is an absolute staple in my eyes. It’s a multi-purpose, highly moisturising cream for rough, dry, flaky or chapped skin – ideal for winter skincare!

Initial Mug – £14.50

Y’all know what a sucker I am for mugs and for personalised stuff – so a personalised mug? YAY! This bone china mug features bold typography and there’s room for extra personalisation if you want it.

  1. Who the hell buys somebody a sex toy as a Christmas gift? I’ve seen it all now. Somebody is going to be having a very merry Christmas. Imagine opening that as a gift in front of your kids? Or even worse giving it as a gift?! Stay classy.

    1. Not every female has children, strangely enough. And with 52% of British women owning a sex toy, it’s not a sentiment shared with more than half of the female population. Perhaps if someone one bought you one, you might gain a sense of humour!

      Have a great Christmas Kate!

      1. Yeah I’m one of that 52% but that doesn’t mean that I want to find one under the Christmas tree. Just like I wouldn’t want to find drain unblocker or athletes foot powder and I regularly use them too. Totally inappropriate. You’re missing my point.

        1. Inappropriate for you perhaps. Not for everyone, because, funnily enough, other people have different thoughts. If you don’t think it’s appropriate, I’m sure the people who are close enough to you to buy something like that would know your feelings on it so wouldn’t buy it. Personally, if my partner/best friends bought me one, I’d find it hilarious.

          Merry Christmas

  2. Some great gift ideas there, I love the look of the hat, it looks so warm and cosy.

  3. Always on the lookout for unique christmas gifts – could send any of these to quite a few friends
