Ben misses out on all the dressing up fun. He’s not at school yet, so when the other two dress up for various events (and there always seems to be something!), he is the one looking a bit left out. He’s always asking to put his brother’s superhero costumes on, which of course, are miles too big for him. When we were offered the chance to review a tortoise tabard from Pretend to Bee, I knew this was one for him!
It’s an absolutely adorable little costume, and Ben looks so cute in it. He loves tearing around the garden in it, and because it’s not too bulky or long, it doesn’t stop him playing. I don’t have to keep getting him undressed to put it on like many dressing up costumes – it simply goes over his head and does up with two simple velcro straps either side. It’s lovely and soft, and the hood can be worn up or down.
The foam backing means it’s nice and sturdy, and won’t fall apart after a couple of wears. It’s designed for children aged 3 – 7, so perfect for all those Infant dress-up days, or for a bit of fun in the house or garden. At just £16.95, for the wear that Benjamin (and no doubt his big brothers will end up wearing it at some point!), I think it’s really good value.
You can buy this tortoise tabard, and other dressing up costumes and accessories from the Pretend to Bee website.
