For the first time in my life, I’ve been enjoying pottering around in the garden. Our back garden still needs a lot of work doing to it – but that’s the kid’s space. They ride around on their bikes and cars, kick balls everywhere and the sand from their tray ends up everywhere. I’ve despaired of it looking anything other than tidy for a few years. We do have a beautiful spacious garden at the front and side of the house (the benefits of living on a corner plot!), with grass, trees, bushes and all sorts of beautiful flowers popping up. This is our first spring/summer living here, and every week we see something new come alive. I even bought some plants and planted them in pots this year!
What I would love is some beautiful outdoor furniture now – perhaps a little bistro style table at the side of the house to take in the beautiful sunsets we seem to have. I can just imagine sitting out there with a glass of wine on an evening, or an early morning coffee before the kids get up.
