Another week come and gone! We haven’t got out much at all – we wanted to wait until Ben’s nasty cough had gone before heading out too far, but then I came down with a rotten cold. This week so far has been spent building a new cabin bed for Harrison and new wardrobes for us. Hopefully, we will get out at some point though and get some much needed fresh air and exercise!

I haven’t read a book in absolutely ages, like about a year. Graham was on nights this week so I downloaded ‘The Girl on the Train’ to my tablet. I read in in two nights – I was hooked! it was lovely to shut off the laptop, turn off the TV and have a few hours just for me.

Yesterday we went down to the sea front, and from a safe distance away (and in the car!) watched the waves crashing up onto the promenade. It was absolutely spectacular, and really reminds you of just how powerful nature can be.⠀ ⠀

We adopted this little lady, Ellie, just over a week ago from the RSPCA. She’s only 5 months old and is a right little character! She is so playful and friendly, bombing around the house like a fruit loop. Her and Daisy (our other cat) are getting on fine – a few hisses to start with but now they sit together and eat together, which is lovely.⠀ ⠀

Benjamin had some Christmas money left over, so we chose him some new clothes – he really didn’t need any new toys! Jumper was a pack of two for just £6 from @georgeatasda. Boots were £14 from Asda as well, and the stripy leggings were just £6.99 from @zarakidsofficial.⠀ ⠀
