Trunki ToddlePak Backpack | Review and Giveaway

We love backpacks in this house. We all have one and they’re used regularly, from day trips, walks down to the beach or take with us on our visits back to Birmingham. They’re all cute, or functional. We were struggling to find one that is both – until we were sent the brand new Trunki ToddlePak backpack.

We are big fans of Trunki here anyway. A couple of years ago I won one of the ride-on suitcases and we’ve used it many, many times, so I guessed I would be pretty impressed with their new range of toddler backpacks – it didn’t disappoint.

Trunki ToddlePak backpack

The Trunki ToddlePak backpacks, which are aimed at children two years and over are available in five different designs. Benjamin, not surprisingly, went for the blue one. It’s beautifully bright and colourful and I love the fact that Hi-vis is built into the design, which will be perfect for evening walks in the Autumn!

It looks small from the outside, but it holds a whopping 5 litres – we managed to get a pair of Harrison’s trainers in there and 5 cartons of juice. It is more than big enough to hold all a toddlers essentials for a day out or nursery. There’s one large pocket, one small pocket and hugging arms, which can carry things like a jacket or a teddy. There’s also a mesh pocket on one of the sides for carrying a drink. I also like the addition of a chest strap, to stop it slipping off his shoulders.

Benjamin absolutely adores the Trunki ToddlePak backpack. Whenever we go out, even just on the school run, he insists on taking it, filling it with the toy cars that seem to go everywhere with us. It gives him a little bit of independence and responsibility for carrying his own things and looks damn cute as well!
