Mr Kipling Valentine Cakes | Review and Giveaway

I bloody love cake. I even named my blog after cake. Can you imagine my excitement when Mr Kipling (well, not the man himself obviously!) got in touch and asked if I wanted to see their extra special loved up cakes, just in time for Valentines Day? Possibly the highlight of my blogging career so far. There was also a vague mention of some sort of bou-cake, whatever one of those was, but to be honest, I was just looking forward to cake.

Mr Kipling Valentine Cakes Review and Giveaway

Roll on a few days and up my drive trots a delivery driver with a big box. I opened it to be greeted with a huge bouquet of beautiful pink roses. But this was no ordinary bouquet. It had cakes on it – pink fancies, Bakewell tarts and mini Battenbergs!

Yes, this was the bou-cake. How freakin’ amazing is it?

Anyway, onto the actual cakes. To celebrate Valentine’s Day (next week by the way!), Mr Kipling has added a big dollop of love and a sprinkle of sweetness into their classics. They’ve redesigned the packaging with cute messages, making them perfect for telling someone that you love them.

We are massive fans of Mr Kipling cakes here. They’re perfect for after school snacks and lunchboxes, and the Valentines edition packaging just made them that little bit more special!

There are 100 of these lovely bou-cakes available to buy – you can see them by clicking here – but one lucky reader of my blog can win a hamper of Mr Kipling cakes and a bou-cake for themselves or for someone else.
