Possibly the thing I love most about living in North Wales (and believe me, there are lots of things I love about it!) is the fact that in one glance you can see mountains, countryside, and the sea. There are not many places in the UK that you can see all three at the same time.
On Thursday, Graham had a day off, and after being stuck in the house for what felt like forever thanks to chickenpox, we headed over to Anglesey, to find Newborough beach. I’d seen friends post pictures and talk about how lovely it is – and they’re so right!
For a fiver, you can park all day. There’s a huge sandy beach, acres and acres of forest and woodland to walk around and explore, and you can see the mountains of Snowdonia across the water. It’s definitely somewhere we will be going back to for a day out.
Hi Rachel, I love places like this. Wild and rugged. It looks a lovely place to explore.

We went on holiday to North Wales last Summer and it was so perfect, I’d happily move there
Have a good Sunday and thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
Looks lovely! I’d love to visit Anglesey, only a couple of hours drive for me. Perhaps a future camping trip. #mysundayphoto
I’ve not been to North Wales since I was a child but I have many happy memories. Looks as beautiful as I remember.
STUNNING – you certainly HAVE the knack of superb photography
That’s a great idea! It’s lovely to start the week with some positive thoughts and beautiful photos. 🙂
