“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Kahlil Gibran
My photos of the kids this week come from a visit to one of our favourite places, the cafe at the harbour, followed by a play on the beach. We have been there twice this week, actually, I took them to the cafe after school for a milkshake treat, and then when we went for a walk, they found some branches that had been washed up. They spent a good half hour playing firemen with them – probably inspired by an incident last Autumn where we had to phone the firemen to come and put out a fire on the beach! They begged us to go back on the weekend to see if they could find their branches – and they were exactly where they left them on Wednesday. We forgot to take the carrier with us, so Graham stayed up on the boardwalk with Elizabeth – it won’t be long before she’s wanting to join with the fun!

Love their matching coats! So envious that the beach is so close to you! #LivingArrows
They look like they’re loving life on the beach. I say it all the time but we really should go to the beach more often! #LivingArrows
This looks like just the nicest place to visit! I really wish we were closer to the coast x
