A Week on Instagram #5

I haven’t done one of these posts for a few weeks. If I’m honest, I fell out of love with Instagram for a bit. I was constantly getting spammed by Juice Plus and It Works (you know, those really naff wraps that apparently make you lose loads of weight) on there, and I couldn’t be bothered with it for a while.

I’m back using it again now, and whilst not as active on there as I have been, I’ve been trying to post once a day or so, so here’s a little round-up of the last week (well, week and a bit!) on there.

I took this last Sunday. I’d woken up to a bunch of beautiful tulips a cup of coffee from Graham, it was sunny and warm and best of all, I had a week off work ahead of me. It turned out to be a lovely day – we went to my mum and dad’s for a proper afternoon tea!

My beautiful tulips from Graham. I’ve only just had to throw them away – they lasted well considering the heat and the fact they are in direct sunshine all day!

On Monday we went for a walk around Cannock Chase, followed by lunch and an ice cold pint of lager in the pub – the perfect bank holiday!

Entertaining these two on a wet and miserable day in the holidays can be tough – they just want to be outside all of the time. Luckily, a big piece of black paper and some space themed stickers kept them amused for half an hour, and meant I got to drink a coffee without having to break up any fights!

Harrison decided to sit down and write a shopping list for us. He did this totally independently, and I think it’s pretty good for a four year old!

I was getting really irritated by various silly things on Sunday, so decided to spend the afternoon in the garden with a book and a mug of chamomile tea…it definitely did the job!

That’s my week (and a bit) on Instagram. How was your week?

  1. Oh I hear you on the wrap and juice spammers! Drives me mad! I do love Instagram though, I’m working on only following accounts that I really love and weeding out the spammy people that got through the net early on.
