A few weeks ago it was my mother-in-laws 60th birthday (Barbara, if you’re reading this, sorry for announcing your age to the world!). We weren’t sure what to get her – it seemed like too much of a significant birthday for a gift card or a bunch of flowers! So, when we had the opportunity to review The Book of Everyone, I knew it would make the perfect gift for her.
The Book of Everyone is a beautifully personalised book that can be created online within a couple of minutes. Every single book is made especially for the recipient. You simply input their name, date of birth and your relationship to them and the book appears on screen, so you can browse through every page and change bits if you want to.
The book is full of quirky facts and figures and a look back on the person’s life. It has information about what was happening in the world on the day they were born, the number one song, the prices of various things – the sort of facts that are always lovely to look back on.
Not only is the book full of lovely content, but it’s incredibly high quality as well. The paper is beautifully thick and the illustrations are lovely, something I am quite fussy about when it comes to things like this. The Book of Everyone makes a truly lovely gift for those milestone birthdays, or even ‘just because’. I know my mother in law absolutely loved it when we gave it to her!
The books are available from the website, and it costs £19.50 for a paperback version or £29.50 for a hardback version. There are also digital versions available, which come free if you buy a paper or hard-back.
