Today, the John Lewis advert was shown on TV. That means I can totally write about Christmas now, right?

Living in a such a new and lovely home this Christmas, we were on the look out for some extra special new decorations. For a few years, all of our decorations were given to us from various relatives. That was great of course, but we really wanted some of our very own, that were special to us as a family. When Create Gift Love got in touch and asked us if wanted to review a personalised wooden wreath, we said yes straight away.

Create Gift Love are based in the New Forest and produce beautifully crafted gifts from ethically sourced wood, stainless steel, and leather. Everything is made to order and is hand checked before being sent out. We chose the personalised mistletoe wreath, which is currently priced at £35.00.

It’s absolutely stunning, and my photography skills don’t do it justice at all. It looks delicate but is made from really sturdy wood. You attach the hanging rope yourself so you can hang it just about anywhere – we will be putting ours in our hallway as if we pass each other in their we always give each other a kiss. It’s a little bit cheeky without being cheesy, and I know it is something we will treasure for many, many years.
