On one of our walks on the beach this week, we found this little dude. I think he (or she!) was dead, but we didn’t want to disturb it. I think starfish are such lovely, fascinating creatures!

What a great find. We love looking in rock pools to see if can find starfish or crabs
I have never touched a live starfish, are they soft when they are alive?
Strangely so! They’re quite squidgey, but the skin is really sharp and pointy. x
