We woke up last Sunday to find the sun was shining. Before the forecasted rain came across, we jumped in the car and headed to the park to feed the ducks, wich we haven’t done for a while. It was a lovely couple of hours out, and we even bumped into my brother who was walking his dog with his friends.
The kids were really excited to find this recently cut tree stump and were fascinated by the patterns on it and all of the insects that had made their home in it. We tried to work out how old the tree was by counting the rings, but we didn’t really have a clue what we were doing!
Beautiful photo, Rachel. Your boys look so happy.
They look so engrossed, I hope it was an enjoyable day

Great photo. I remember trying to count the rings on a tree as a child, I never could quite work out how it was done!
