Bank holiday weekend was also the weekend of the Rhyl Air Show. It’s a huge event here, bringing in people from all over. It was the first time we’ve been, and I think it will be something we go to year in, year out.
On Saturday, we went down to the prom to watch the wing walkers, helicopters and stunt planes. It was incredibly busy there, but the atmosphere was really nice – the sun being out definitely helped! On Sunday, we decided to watch the finale – the spectacular Red Arrows – from the comfort of a pub beer garden.
They were absolutely breathtaking. The amount of skill and precision it takes for them to stay in such tight formation is amazing.
My kids would love to see this
Always a delight to see the Red arrows
