Every so often, I like to give my blog a new look. I like to play around with the theme and the header and the colours. Whilst it’s pretty important to maintain a ‘brand’, I also think it’s important to love what my blog looks like, and that means changing it up when I begin to get bored.
I’ve never really had a logo for my blog. I created the header that I currently have myself using a simple graphic design program, and I’ve kind of ran with that for about a year. As much as I love it, I’m now itching for a bit of a change. Logojoy approached me at just the right time, offering me the chance to have a logo professionally designed. Obviously, I jumped at the chance!
I thought it might be a little bit tricky but it literally could not have been more simple. In fact, it was fun to play about with the graphics, texts, colours and layout.
To begin with, you pop in your company name, and slogan if you have one. There’s a chance to choose some simple graphics or symbols that you like. Once you have done that, it gives you a selection of logos to choose from. You can then go into the different designs and personalise and edit them further, changing the colour, layout and everything else.
I knew I wanted something super simple. I love the sort of rose gold/copper effect text that is really on trend at the moment, and that’s something I seem to do on my own, so I loved it when this one popped up! It’s dead simple but really classy, which is the look I wanted to go for.
After Christmas, I’ll be having a bit of a blog makeover and putting this into use. In the meantime, you might see it rolled out across my social media pages.
How much does it cost and what does it include?
The cheapest package is $20, which is a low-resolution copy of your logo. The next package up, which costs $65 (which I had) includes:
- High-resolution logo
- Vector EPS and SVG files
- Transparent background
- Black/white versions
- Lifetime phone support
- Font names and colours
- Full copyright ownership
- Make changes and re-download
- Print ready
- Brand guidelines
- Social media kit (Extra)
There is another package, which costs $165 and that gives you an hour with a designer and the social media kit included.
Within a few minutes of finalising my design, it popped into my inbox in a variety of file formats (PDF, PNG, SVG and EPS) ready for me to download and use in whatever way I need to.
If you need an affordable logo design, I definitely recommend Logojoy!
*I was given the chance to review the $65 package and was also compensated for my time. All words and opinions are my own.
Sounds great
I’ll bare this in mind
