Living Arrows #1

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Kahlil Gibran

Most years I start off with all the best intentions of writing one of these posts every week and manage about three weeks. However, I am determined to keep up in 2020 (yeah, how many times have I said that as well?!). I want to be able to look back at the end of this year and see all the photos of the kids and how they change on almost a weekly basis, and this is the best way of doing it, I have had to cheat a little bit though and nick some of my dad’s photos though for this week – that’s a good start, eh?

The pictures were taken in that strange time between Christmas and new year. My parents always come up to stay for a few days and we usually have a sort of second Christmas, as well as go out and about exploring as we always do. Unfortunately, this year we all went down with flu-type bugs, which wasn’t much fun.

  1. I love that you join in each year even if life takes over after a while. You’re always welcome to join in whenever you happen to have photos – never feel pressured to making it every week. Your children have grown so much since the last time you joined in – and an extra one too! x

  2. I hope you’re all feeling better now. I’ll look forward to seeing what you get up to in this year’s Living Arrows posts 🙂
