Boxclever Press Family Calendar| Review

2020 is going to be the year I get organized.

I can’t seem to get on top of organization. I am chronically disorganized, and if I don’t have something written down to remind me, I will forget almost immediately. I found out quite recently that is probably one of the features of dyspraxia, which I was diagnosed with a few years back, and chuck in four babies (pregnancy and baby brain are real, y’all!) and busy life, and well, it’s chaos. I have countless planners and diaries, but unless I look at them in the morning, when I can barely remember my own name, they’re useless!

For years, I have been saying we need a calendar or wall planner or something in the kitchen, right next to the door we go in and out of for school and work. The problem was that I couldn’t find one that was just right – until I was sent the Boxclever Press 2020 Family Weekly Planner Calendar. It is exactly what we needed.

Boxclever Press Family Weekly Planenr Calendar

It has six columns, one for each of us which is super handy. I just have to glance up to see who is supposed to be There’s a handy plastic overlay that you can use to write on anything that happens every week, although I tend to use it more to protect the calendar! On the side are spaces for shopping lists (which are perforated, so you can rip them off and take them shopping) and ‘to-do’s, which has proved useful, and there is a space to hold a pen – I don’t know about you, but I can never find a pen when I need one!

Once you have finished the week, you simply rip off the sheet and the next one is there underneath, making it really easy. I love all of the little stickers that are included – back to school, schools out, party ones, etc, – they make it really clear in a glance! The only problem that I found was that some of the stickers didn’t come away from the backing properly and lost their stickiness, but that’s pretty minor.

We’ve been using the calendar for a couple of weeks now and it’s already proving itself really useful, so I think it’s going to be a great tool for keeping me (and everyone else!) organized throughout 2020.

This family calendar and all of the other calendars are available on the Boxclever Press website. This one costs £11.99.
