Yesterday, we went to Ikea to buy some bits and pieces for our new home. We ended up buying a desk and a toy storage bench for the kids, as well as a dinner set and new saucepans. When we had paid for the things, we took Harrison and Alex to the supervised creche there. We went over to the cafe and had a coffee, whilst Benjamin played happily in the little play area. It’s sometimes really difficult to get those few minutes of peace and quiet, but when they do happen, it’s lovely!! The kids came out of the creche full of smiles and telling us all about the friends they made there.
Sounds like it was a good and successful trip
Thank you for linking up
That looks really good – I bet you enjoyed it 🙂
That looks like a good cuppa’ joe.
Definitely moments to treasure and who doesn’t like getting to drink a coffee when it’s actually still hot!
It is always nice to get some peace and quite with a hot coffee in your hand and happy to hear the kids had a good time to, Clio lending a helping hand for Coombe Mill
It sounds like you had a lovely shopping trip…
It’s nice to get a little break isn’t it. Don’t think I’ve had a quiet cuppa for a while! Glad you managed to get a few bits and bobs at Ikea 🙂
