I am starting a new series this week that shares other bloggers favourite songs. The lovely Chelle from Chelle McCann did this as part of her Saturday Soundtrack series, and I’ve now taken over the reins. I will join with this at some point – trying to narrow it down to my five favourites is harder than it seems!
To kick it off, The DRM Project is sharing their five favourite songs. The DRM Project is an online store selling slogan t-shirts and sweatshirts, with 100% of the profits going to charity, which I think is pretty damn amazing.
The DRM Project’s 5 Favourite Songs
‘Pusher Love Girl’ by Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake – pick a song any song! I am the BIGGEST JT fan in the world so it’s tough to pick just one but if I have to then it’d be this one!
‘Mr Jones’ by Counting Crows
This song reminds me of some of the best times of my life when I was a holiday rep in Andorra. We’d listen to live music every night played in the bars by some of our great friends and this was the one we used to beg them to sing each time! I still love it now!
‘Water Under the Bridge’ by Adele
This song reminds me of the funniest drunken weekend in Barcelona with Zoe, the other half of the DRM Project, we went to see Adele there and kept being told off for standing up and singing! She kept singing this at the top of her voice the whole time we were there and it still makes us laugh now.
‘Thunder Road’ by Bruce Springsteen
Reminds me of my Dad. Nothing else to say 🙁
Love Backs Down by Walking on Cars
This band are pretty new but their album ‘Everything this way’ is incredible – especially live. My favourite song at the moment is ‘Love Backs Down’ but they’re all great!
Well, these are all totally new songs to me (although I do love a bit of Adele and Bruce), and it’s great to hear a new band! You can follow The DRM Project on Instagram and Facebook.
